Raubonis Park (Raubonių pramogų parkas) is one of the most popular family vacation spots in Lithuania. It’s located just 100 kilometers from Riga and about 19 kilometers from the Lithuanian-Latvian border. It’s a great day trip idea, especially if you’re traveling with children.

Here you’ll find a variety of entertainment, from carousels and trampolines to a walk among life-size dinosaurs. Add to this a petting zoo, a VR cinema, and an active recreation area—and you’ve got the perfect place for an unforgettable experience!

Raubonis Park is divided into three themed zones. Let’s take a closer look at each one:
1) Raubonis Amusement and Active Recreation Park
This is a place that will appeal to both children and adults. All rides and activities are included in the ticket price.

Here you’ll find:
- Over 10 different carousels and rides: a bumper car, a rocking ship, a hot air balloon carousel, a fairytale train, a dinosaur carousel, and more. The rides are designed for a variety of age groups, from toddlers to adults.

- New this season: animated shows featuring various life-size puppets who move, blow bubbles, and dance joyfully. To start the show, just press the start button.

- Water activities area! If the weather is nice, be sure to bring your swimsuit.

- Laser tag. You can play with your group or join a group game with other park guests.
- 9D cinema. During the screenings, you’ll go on a virtual walk with dinosaurs.

- A petting mini zoo. Unlike regular zoos, you can not only look at the animals through a cage, but actually interact with them up close – enter the enclosures of rabbits, birds, sheep, and goats. The deer roam freely throughout the grounds – you can pet them, feed them, and take photos with them.

- Trampoline Zone. Here, children can have fun and bounce to their heart’s content on safe, net-enclosed trampolines.
- Inflatable Attraction Zone. A separate area features over five large inflatable obstacle courses.

- Tube Slide
- Zombie Trail. I don’t recommend taking small children on this trail, as they’ll definitely get scared.

- The House of Horrors, which is located within the museum. Incidentally, Halloween Park will be open in Raubonis Park from October 10th to November 3rd.
In addition to all of the above, this area also includes mini golf, a cafe where you can grab a bite to eat, a face painting studio, a souvenir shop, and a Candyshop.
2)Raubonis Dinosaur Trail
Entering this part of the park feels like being transported to Jurassic Park. Along a winding path, hidden in the shade of the trees, are approximately 40 dinosaur and other fantastical creature figurines.

The sculptures are life-size! But most importantly, these aren’t static exhibits. The dinosaurs come to life: they turn their heads, move their tails, open their mouths, and make roaring sounds. This effect creates an atmosphere of true adventure, especially for children.

Besides dinosaurs, the trail also features dragons and giant insects, making the walk even more unique. Each figure is meticulously detailed, making it a delight for children to explore up close, while adults often use the trail as a great photo opportunity.

3)Tarzan Rope Park
The open-air rope park is a zone for the active and daring. It offers several trails of varying difficulty, for young children, teenagers, and adults. The routes include suspension bridges, ropes, nets, and high-speed ziplines.

All participants undergo training and use insurance, so the entertainment is safe.
Useful information:
- Opening Hours: Daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (during the summer season, usually until the end of August).
- Tickets: On weekdays, a combined ticket for the amusement area and dinosaur trail costs only €10, and on weekends, €12. Tarzan Park is a separate ticket, ranging from €5 to €14, depending on the trails selected.
- Address: Raubonių pramogų parkas, Rauboniai, Panevėžio district, Lithuania.

Arrive at the park just before opening to ensure you have time to enjoy all the attractions and fully enjoy the park’s entertainment. Upon entering the park, you’ll receive a stamp on your hand, allowing you to enter and exit as often as you like.
Conclusion
Raubonis is a park where dinosaurs come to life, where you can feed friendly animals, challenge yourself on rope courses, or have fun on the rides. It’s perfect for a family vacation and allows you to spend a whole day in an adventurous atmosphere. This is a place you’ll want to return to again and again—every visit brings new emotions!
